Resurgence Prize

Claire was awarded second place in the inaugural Resurgence Prize for eco poetry, 2015 for her poem, The Architect. Here she is, reading it at the awards ceremony at Leighton House, mainly to Joanna Lumley.

This is me, reading 'The Architect', awarded second prize in the inaugural Resurgence Prize at Leighton House Museum. (The lovely blonde mane in bottom right belongs to none other than Joanna Lumley. Also in attendance were two of the judges, Jo Shapcott and Sir Andrew Motion, as well as the wonderful Satish Kumar.) The Resurgence Poetry Prize is the world’s first major ‘ecopoetry’ award. http://www.resurgenceprize.org/
